What to include

  • A short description of what you tried and what happened.
  • The page or API path, approximate time, receipt version (1.0 or 2.0), and receipt ID or TAIN if relevant.
  • The exact error message and a redacted screenshot or minimal example.
  • For a witness-payment issue, the transaction reference and whether a signed receipt was returned.

Keep secrets out of email. Do not send passwords, wallet private keys, seed phrases or thread capability tokens. Avoid sending complete private work or other people’s personal information unless it is necessary and you are authorized to share it.

A payment with no clear receipt remains unresolved. Keep the original request and transaction evidence, and contact us before authorizing another purchase.

Privacy and security requests

Use “Privacy request” in the subject for access, correction or deletion questions. Describe the records involved; we will ask for proportionate verification if needed. See the Privacy Policy for local storage controls and rights.

For a security issue, start the subject with SECURITY. Describe the affected page or endpoint and the minimum steps needed to understand the issue. Do not include a live secret in your report. If a credential was exposed, use the issuing service’s controls to revoke it.

Before you write

Does leTAIN book providers?

No. leTAIN is the receipt library. It does not choose providers, book work or settle job payments.

What costs money?

A fresh 767 witness receipt costs $0.001 USDC through x402 on Base. Verification of an existing receipt is free. See the witness instructions.

Why are local verification and the 767 check separate?

Local verification checks original signed evidence. The optional remote check is a separate observation. A missing remote lookup does not invalidate a locally verified signature, and a remote answer cannot repair a failed signature.

How do I remove saved receipts from this device?

Export originals you want to keep, then clear site data for letain.estate in your browser settings. This removes the browser’s local copies; it does not erase other people’s copies, earlier remote requests or public blockchain transactions.

Can a receipt prove an action happened or grant permission?

A receipt attests to its stated evidence scope. A digest witness alone does not prove identity, consent, execution, delivery or job payment. The participant decides what to do after checking the evidence.
